Like Cash crops trees for reforestation are produced in nurseries close to planting areas and lend themselves to inoculation with AMF and ECMF. PlantWorks has mixes for temperate and Tropical zones for trees and has treated up to 0.5 million trees one UK project alone. In the tropics treatment of reforestation trees with mycorrhizal fungi can significantly speed up growth, nutrient acquisition and erosion control as well remediation of ex-mining sites speeding up the natural reinvasion of the sites by native species. PlantWorks has extensive experience of working with such projects globally and can implement strategies with partners very quickly.
